Miriam Louise Cox studied Cello at the Junior Academy under Robert Max and at the Royal College of Music with Alexander Boyarsky. Since graduating in 2000 Miriam has enjoyed performing, writing, recording and touring with many groups and ensembles. She particularly loves working on writing and recording projects with singer songwriters.

With a particular love of improvising and experience playing with bands, as well as hosting her own Creative Music Sessions for kids and multidisciplinary Creative Space events, Miriam has honed her own unique ambient live loop sound.

Miriam discovered early on that she had a particular affinity for and understanding of children’s individual learning styles. She has taught both children and adults in many settings and through this experience has collated her own step by step approach. Miriam delivers a bespoke learning experience, appropriate and tailored to each student.
